WATERLOO — Carrie Blevins, 76, of Waterloo, died Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, at Holzer Senior Care Center.
The Greenup County, Ky., native was born May 12, 1933, the daughter of the late Alvin and Lillie Castle Stewart. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Blevins, who died in 1978.
She attended Greenup County, Ky., schools and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Russell Stewart and Ellis Stewart and five sisters, Ethel Stewart, Maude Stewart, Irene Stewart, Edith Stewart and Nora Stewart.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Richard Ingles of Patriot; two sons, Tim Blevins of Huntington, W.Va., and Larry Blevins of Argillite, Ky.; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law. Bernice and Braxton Spears of Greenup, Ky.; a brother, Jesse Stewart of Muncie, Ind.
