The re-established Lawrence County Team is currently recruiting new members for up-coming performances.

The next meeting will be held Oct. 24 at 1:30 p.m. at Family Guidance Center, 1518 South 3rd Street, Ironton.

Membership in America’s PRIDE builds positive peer power, leadership, teamwork, effective communication skills, organization and planning skills and experience in communication, performing arts and community service.

Three swat (student wellness awareness team) members attended World PRIDE Conference in April 2009 and returned to Lawrence County determined to establish a local team. This recent training was the first step in realization of that dream.
