IRONTON — Are you currently unemployed or underemployed and want your resume to be seen by the entire Tribune readership while documenting your search of a new or better job?

In other words, are you in need of some free self-promotion?

If marketing yourself to the masses sounds interesting and productive, then you might be exactly what The Tribune is looking for.

Starting this fall, The Tribune will start a multimedia series called “The Search: The Will to Work” that will chronicle the trials, tribulations and joys of a group of Lawrence County residents currently unemployed or underemployed.

Each participant will be interviewed, photographed and asked to keep an informal journal of his or her quest to enter or better himself or herself in the workforce again.

The series will also allow participants access to a wide range of employment services including resume assistance and workforce placement.

They also will be asked to meet on a regular basis with The Tribune to give updates of their current search.

Most any profession would be eligible to be included in the series.

Those underemployed are also asked to apply if you are working between jobs or in a field outside of your specialty.

It would also be advantageous if those considering participating were looking for full time work and not be retired or students looking for part-time work.

Recent high school and college graduates looking for full time work are also encouraged to apply.

There is no monetary compensation for participation in this series, though your story, resume and available talents, will be viewed by The Tribune’s entire subscription base.
