HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Linda Lou Ferrell Miranda 69, of Huntington, passed away Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. The Mingo County, W.Va. native was born May 9, 1940, the daughter of Nancy Pinson Knight and of the late Tennison S. Ferrell.
Mrs. Miranda was a graduate of Huntington East High School and was a waitress for Ferrell’s Cafeteria. She was of the Protestant faith and was a member of the Rock of Ages Church in Guyandotte, W.Va.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, David Tennison Ferrell.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Alissa Anaya and Larry Wilson of Ironton; son, Martin J. Anaya Jr. of Sacramento, Calif.; a brother, Roger Ferrell of Huntington; and three granddaughters, Mia, Elena, and Reyes Wilson all of Ironton.
Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, at Phillips Funeral Home, with Pastor Buddy Muncy officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville, W.Va.
