We thank Congressman Wilson for speaking and voting in support of The Affordable Health Care for America Act

For too many in his district and across the state, relief from skyrocketing insurance premiums, unfair insurance rules, and lack of access to affordable care is long overdue.

The House plan contains important consumer protections and will help all Ohioans obtain health insurance, afford coverage, and have access to the health services they need.

People who have employer-based coverage, Medicaid or Medicare will get to keep the plan that they have.

People who do not have coverage will be able to obtain affordable coverage so they can get prevention and primary care.

In addition, help will be available for small businesses so they can afford to offer coverage to their employees.

We cannot afford to wait any longer for change and Representative Wilson took a stand to make sure his constituents—and all Americans—get the health care reform we need. Thank you, Congressman Wilson.
