TROY, Mich. — June Brewer, 88, of Troy, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009. The Lawrence County native was born June 7, 1921, the daughter of the late Charles Philip and May Thomas Hackworth. She was the wife of the late Benny Brewer.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Brewer; three brothers, Jewel, Frank and Henry “Buster” Hackworth and a sister, Ruth Winters.
Survivors include two sons, William and Gary Brewer and a daughter-in-law, Glenda Brewer, all of Waterford, Mich.; grandsons, Dylan Brewer of Florida and Jeb Brewer of Colorado; and two sisters, Geraldine Hankins and Wilma Webb, both of Ironton.
Services will be in Michigan.
