Ironton in Bloom needs your help. During the 2009 year, one of our major goals is to engage business owners into our program and to place greater value on each of the owners/managers and their employees.

One way of doing this is to designate one business each month as “Business of the Month”.

These businesses work hard to make the exterior of the business clean, attractive, weed free, and inviting to the customer.

Window displays and plantings surrounding the business are pluses but not required.

We need you to nominate a business. It can be located any where within the city limits.

We have a committee of retired business people who are eagerly waiting to make the final determination.

If nominated, each business will receive a door hanger from IIB thanking them for their positive efforts and one business will be honored.

This business will receive a sign to place in the window as well as having a picture placed in the local papers.

IIB hopes in this way to instill pride in Irontonians and our local businesses.

Please nominate any business that exemplifies this criteria. You can nominate a business every month!

Let’s praise our local businesses and create a positive attitude in our community.
