COLUMBUS — Walter Bruce Taylor II, 44, of Columbus, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at Ohio State University Hospital after a long illness.
He was born Aug. 9, 1965, in Greensboro, N.C., a son of Ruth May Brammer Taylor of Columbus and Walter Bruce Taylor of Siler City, N.C.
He was a maintenance engineer with the Barrington Real Estate Corp., with nine years of service.
He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Clyde Brammer and his paternal grandfather, Eli J. Taylor.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Grand Aaron Taylor of Columbus; a brother, Mark Allen Taylor and his wife, Margaret of Greensboro, N.C.; two sisters, Walena Ann Brown and her husband, Carl, also of Greensboro and Joni Ellen Saffari and her husband, Matt, of Jamestown, N.C.; a maternal grandmother, Olive Eloise Brammer of Deering, Ohio and his paternal grandmother, Myrtle Taylor of Siler City.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ice Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in Ice Creek Cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Chapel and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
