Renate Wallin, 83, of Ironton, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, at Wurtland Nursing and Rehab in Wurtland, Ky.
The Berlin, Germany native was born Nov.13, 1926, the daughter of the late Otto and Anna Dalgas. She is survived by her husband, Eugene F. Wallin.
Mrs. Wallin was a graduate of a school in Germany, a homemaker and a member of the Sedgewick Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude Oelberg
a brother, Gerhardt Dalgas.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Michele Snyder of Atlanta, Ga., and Andrea and Kevin Kitts of Wurtland, Ky.; a granddaughter, Jessica Elgin of Atlanta, Ga., and a grandson, Greg Snyder, also of Atlanta.
