SOUTH POINT — The game started at 7:30, but it was a little after eight before the South Point Lady Pointers started to play.

After a sluggish first half, the Lady Pointers dominated the third quarter en route to a 66-40 win over the Boyd County (Ky.) Lady Lions Monday.

“We didn’t play well the first half,” said Lady Pointers’ coach Dave Adams.
