SCOTTOWN — James Evan Wall, 66, of Scottown, passed away Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009 at home.
He was born Sept. 28, 1943, to the late Charles B. and Iva Jean Wall.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son, James Evan Wall, Jr., and granddaughter, Charlea M. Wall.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years ,Patricia Wall; two sons and one daughter Michael and Renee Wall, Joanna and Brent Daniels, and Eric and Jayme Wall; six grandchildren, Lindsay Daniels, Chelsea Wall, Shelby Daniels, Ericca Wall, Makenzie Daniels, Ethan Wall; two brothers, Bethal and Barbara Wall and Charles Belden and Sherry Wall; one sister, Sharl and Kenneth Hinkle; brother-in-law, Harold “Bucky” and Janet Shafer; and several loving nieces and nephews.
He was born and raised in Lawrence County. He graduated from Windsor High School. He was a former employee of Acme Machinery and Ashland Hydraulics and a retiree of Industrial Fabrication and Machine. He was a member of the Symmes Valley Board of Education for 12 years, a 4-H adviser of the Scottown Farmers and Farmerettes for 30 years, Waterloo Masons 532, Waterloo Eastern Star 447, Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati, Aladdin Shriners, Lawrence County York Rites, Kentucky Colonel and a member of Scottown Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 am Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home with the Rev. Cleo Watson and the Rev. Eddie Salmons officiating . Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be conducted 6 – 9 pm today at the funeral home with Waterloo Masonic Lodge #532 F & AM conducting both Masonic Service and Scottish Rite Service beginning at 7:30 pm.
