OHA downs Princeton

The Oak Hill Academy Warriors used a big second half to pull away from the Cincinnati Princeton Vikings 68-47 Tuesday before a capacity crowd in The Ironton Basketball Classic.
Oak Hill, the No. 1 prep team in the country, took an 18-15 first quarter lead despite 10 points by Princeton’s Jay McCants.
Oak Hill went on a 9-1 run over the final 3:30 of the half to lead 30-23.
Princeton got within 30-28 to start the second half as Jordan Sibert scored 5 points.
But Roscoe Smith’s 3-point play put the Warriors’ lead at 37-30 with 2:28 left in the quarter.
Oak Hill then went on a 12-3 run to end the quarter and a 13-5 run to start the fourth quarter to lead 55-36 with 4:48 to play.
Oak Hill (15-0) was led by Doron Lamb with 20 points and Smith with 15.
McCants had 16 points for Princeton (3-1), ranked No. 29 in the country.
