The position, which pays a modest hourly wage, allows students flexibility to work around class schedules and other commitments.

The individual chosen will work hands on to complete administrative tasks and other duties.

“Pages are given a unique opportunity to interact with state legislators and their staffs, learn the legislative process and gain valuable work experience that can translate to a career in politics or success in another profession,” said Carey.

“I encourage college students from the 17th Senate District, who may be attending Ohio State University, Columbus State Community College, Capital University or another area college or university to submit their resumes to my office.”

Interested students can send their resumes to State Senator John Carey, Statehouse, Room 127, Columbus, Ohio 43215 or via email at SD17@senate.state.oh.us.
