Pauline Elizabeth Ellis, 86, of Ironton, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky.
The Lawrence County native was born Jan. 15, 1923, the daughter of the late John and Maggie Kelly Owens. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Ellis, who passed away Oct. 26, 2007.
Mrs. Ellis attended Coal Grove schools, was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Owens.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Vickie Ellis of Pedro; three grandchildren, Andy Ellis of Pedro, Tracy Romine and Terry Stevens both of Coal Grove; four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow in Mamre Cemetery.
