COAL GROVE — Oakie Haynes provided the spark. His Coal Grove teammates provided the flames.

Haynes helped ignite the Hornets 61-46 win over the River Valley Raiders Tuesday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.

“We played well. We controlled most things tonight. We started a little sluggish, but when we hit the second quarter we sparked it up a bit and took off from there,” said Hornets’ coach Randy Ward.
