COLUMBUS — Lillian Alice Rice, 76, of Columbus, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010 at the Bon Rest Home in Columbus.
She was born May 19, 1933, a daughter of the late C.J. and Dorothy Goodman Bentley in Ironton. She was a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church and graduate from Pedro School in 1951.
She is survived by her husband, George Rice, of Columbus; a son, Jim and Denice Rice of Denver; a daughter, Joyce Rice of Columbus; a brother, Ray and Iva Bentley of Coal Grove; a sister, Eileen Moeller of Hecla and three grandchildren, Alex, Ethan and Rachel.
Besides her father and mother, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Ed, Paul, Donald and Glen; two sisters, Kathleen Bentley Godard and Juanita Bentley; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date at the convenience of the family.
