Vascular screenings, blood profile testing at St. Mary’s

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — To emphasize the importance of heart disease prevention and healthy living, St. Mary’s Medical Center is offering vascular screenings and blood profile testing for the public in February.

Three different vascular screenings — peripheral vascular disease, carotid artery and abdominal aortic aneurysm — will be available on Saturday, Feb. 6 and Saturday, Feb. 20 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in St. Mary’s Regional Heart Institute.

The cost is $45 per test, or $99 for all three tests. Registration is required by calling (304) 526-1492.

St. Mary’s also offers low-cost blood profiles, which include 29 different tests, such as blood cell count, hemoglobin, glucose, calcium, potassium, sodium and total cholesterol.

Blood profiles are $30 and can be purchased at St. Mary’s Outpatient Center registration desk Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
