ERMA ROBINSON

Erma Opal Robinson, 85, of Ironton, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at her residence. The Pedro native was born Feb. 24, 1924, the daughter of the late Emmitt and Della Robinson Arrington. She is survived by her husband, Elmer Ray Robinson.
Mrs. Robinson attended Waterloo School. She was a homemaker and a member of Woodland Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dolphus Arrington and Troy Arrington; a sister, Edna Mae Primm; and a son-in-law, Larry Bryson.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Connie and Bob Clement of Kitts Hill and Kay Bryson and Lana and Lee Mays, all of Ironton two sons, Richard and Annie Robinson and Larry and Rhonda Robinson, all of Ironton; a sister, Versil Jackson of Gallipolis; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren ; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Woodland Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Brother Dave Schug officiating. Burial will follow in Slabfork Cemetery. Friends may call Monday at 12 p.m.  at the church until the time of service. Phillips Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
