FLATWOODS, Ky. — Donald James Carter Sr., 86 of Flatwoods, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010. He was the husband of Virginia L. Calfee Carter, who survives. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Carman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens. Military graveside rites will be conducted by VFW 8850 of Ironton, Ohio. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
