The U.S. Census has scheduled testing today and next Friday for a variety of jobs for the upcoming nationwide canvas of the population.

Jobs available include census takers, crew leaders, crew leaders assistants and recruiting assistances. Pay ranges from $10.75 to $19.50 an hour.

Right now the census has reached only 49 percent of its recruitment goal for Lawrence County.

Tests will be at 2 p.m. today and Feb. 26 at Ohio University Proctorville and at 6 p.m. today and Feb. 26 at Ohio University Southern-Ironton campus.
