On Feb. 18, four Symmes Valley FFA members traveled to Federal Hocking High School and competed in the Job Interview Career Development Event. This is an actual mock job interview.

The members first chose a job opening in the field of agriculture, completed a cover letter and a resume prior to the event.

At the event each member had to complete a job application, the mock interview, and a follow up letter.

The following students competed: Freshman division — Jacob Graybeal placing 5th out of 8, Sophomore division — Garrett Crawford placing 4th out of 7, Senior division — Samantha Thomas placing 2nd out of 6, and 1st year Junior division — Ryan Stanley placing 3rd out of 3.
