CULLOWEE, N.C. — It was Senior Day, so senior point guard Brigham Waginger celebrated.

Waginger scored 15 points and tied a career high with seven steals in Western Carolina’s 78-70 win over the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga.

The seven steals by Waginger makes him the nation’s leader in that category.
