Assault — County Road 1, South Point Sunday, man reportedly assaulted, Gary B. Thompson Jr., 34, 247 County Road 1, South Point, arrested and taken to jail.

Possession of drugs — Chesapeake Middle School Friday, student found with pill bottle containing Depakote, Seroquel and Statera, student found to also have menacing letter, 13-year-old boy taken to group home.

Assault — Township Road 510N, South Point Friday, man reportedly assaulted, suspect named.

Domestic — County Road 276, South Point, Sunday, woman reportedly menaced with gun, suspect named.

Theft — Township Road 1438, South Point Saturday, metal gutters taken from residence.

Domestic — Lawrence Township Saturday, 14-year-old boy reportedly grabbed by face, others menaced, suspect named.

Theft — County Road 181, Ironton Saturday, 178 I-beams taken.

Breaking and entering — County Road 22, Ironton Thursday, outbuilding entered, tools taken.
