State Route 373 closing for culvert replacement

ELIZABETH TOWNSHIP —State Route 373 in Lawrence County will be closed for two days next week in conjunction with a maintenance project by crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation District 9.

On Monday and Tuesday, April 5 and 6, crews from ODOT’s Lawrence County Highway Maintenance Facility will replace four deteriorated culverts between the routes 1.5 and 3.0-mile markers, or Township Road 140W (Texas Hollow Road) and Dean Forest Road.

The closure will go into effect at approximately 8 a.m. Monday and continue through the end of the business day Tuesday, or approximately 4 p.m. While the route is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of State Route 93.
