Ironton police

Kids knocking on doors — 1300 block South Sixth Street and 1500 block South Third Street Friday, teens reportedly knocking on doors and then running away, negative contact.

Vandalism — 1300 block South Fourth Street Friday, residence damaged, suspect named.

Located stolen vehicle — 600 block South 10th Street Friday, vehicle reported stolen located by owner.

Burglary —1900 block South Third Street Friday.

Assault — NO location given, 13-year-old girl assaulted by group of girls after school, parents advised to notify school officials.

Suspicious activity — 2500 block South Ninth Street Friday, kids reportedly ringing doorbells and running.

Theft— 2600 block South Fourth Street Saturday, man caught inside person’s vehicle, fled, description given.

Fight — Boomers, South Third Street Saturday, one person taken to area hospital, one person arrested…

Domestic — Sixth and Buckhorn streets Saturday, Mark R. Moore, 48, 611 Buckhorn St., Ironton, arrested and taken to jail.

Vandalism — Wendy’s Fourth and Center streets Saturday, kids who reportedly damaged restaurant earlier have returned, located, taken to police station, parents notified.

Dog complaint — Fourth and Vine streets Saturday, female reportedly bitten by dog.
