Kevin Duane Donley died Sunday, April 4, 2010.
Kevin was born April 7, 1959, in Ironton. He was a graduating member of the South Point High School Class of 1978. He had attended Ironton City Schools until his sophomore year when his family moved to South Point.
Upon graduation from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served on the U.S.S. John F. Kennedy.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Jean Butler; his father, Don Donley and his only brother, Keith Donley and his wife, Barbra Donley.
Kevin leaves behind four children, Justin, Sarah, Melanie and Amber, of Portsmouth; nine grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Johnny Whisman of New Boston and a sister, Belinda Donley of Columbus.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Thursday at Melcher Funeral Home, Offnere Street, Portsmouth. Visitation will be 5-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
