Charlotte Ann Hacker Pauley, 56, of Ironton, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. The Ironton native was born Dec. 2, 1953, the daughter of Donald C. and Patsy Ann Gibson Hacker of Ironton. She is also survived by her husband of 38 years, John F. Pauley, whom she married Sept. 1, 1972.
Charlotte was a 1972 graduate of St. Joseph High School and received her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development from Ohio University. She was an extraordinary homemaker and director of the Christian Day Care in Ironton. She was a member of Central Christian Church and ran the Ironton Little League concession stand for many years.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ann and Fred Gibson, and her paternal grandparents, Clara and Frank Hacker.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is also survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Brian and Kelly Pauley, Michael and Christie Pauley, and Gary Pauley all of Ironton; six grandchildren, Katelyn Erwin, Hunter Pauley, Kyleigh Pauley, Kendall Pauley, Nick Pauley, and Josie Pauley; a brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Rhonda Hacker of Ironton; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Theresa and Rock Meadows and Heidi Lawson all of Ironton; mother-in-law, Joann Pauley of Ironton; and father-in-law, Robert Pauley of South Point.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Central Christian Church with Minister Brent Baker and Rev. Steve Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 6-9 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home and Saturday after 9:30 a.m. at the church.
