Three was a lucky number for the Ironton Lady Fighting Tigers.
Janie Morris had three hits and Karlie Collins belted a 3-run homer in the first inning as Ironton beat the Jackson Ironladies 10-6 Wednesday in a Southeastern Ohio Athletic League game.
Ironton finished 7-2 in the SEOAL South and tied with Gallipolis. However, Gallipolis will play for the league title due to the tiebreaker that saw the Blue Angels win 2-out-of-3 against Ironton.
Kylie Summers got the win as she went 4.1 innings, striking our four and walking three.
Collins was 2-2 and Emily Davis 2-3 with a double to key a 12-hit Ironton offensive assault.
