SOUTH POINT — Jake Cogan, a junior at South Point High School, has been selected to attend the American Legion Buckeye Boys State, a nine-day intensive education program on Ohio government geared for high school students. Cogan was chosen by American Legion Post 433.

Boys State is a program where each participant becomes a part of the operation of local, county and state government.

The conference will be held June 12-20 on the campus of Bowling Green State University.
