Safe Harbor of Northeast Kentucky wishes to thank the Z WINTER GUARD organization, under the direction of Bill and Sarah Burroway, for honoring the shelter and its work at the annual Rivertown Review, in March of this year.

Thanks to this energetic and caring group, Safe Harbor was able to reach out in a big way during the event, with its message concerning domestic violence.

As it happened, the final performance of the program was dedicated to the memory of Christy Grice, an area resident, who herself died a victim of domestic violence.

In addition, the group selected the shelter as recipient of donor contributions, which consisted of much needed personal items, for residents of Safe Harbor.
