Local area high school students were honored by the Captain James Lawrence Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Senior girls who graduated with honors were invited by the DAR to an annual tea luncheon to celebrate their accomplishments at the Lawrence County Museum on May 5.

Each year the DAR invites top graduating senior girls to have lunch and listen to speakers and to enjoy a day that’s all about them.
