Helen Waller Carrico, our dear mother and mama, passed from this earth to her heavenly reward May 18, 2010, after a brief illness and leaving behind her loving family, friends, and neighbors.  
She was born to Floyd and Lucetta Corbin Waller on June 12, 1911, in Tacoma, Wash.  
Helen Catherine Waller married Clyde E. Carrico in 1930 in Willow Wood, where they lived for 77 years until his death in 2007.  
They are survived by their only son, Ralph E. Carrico (Phyllis); grandchildren, Mike (Kim), Gary (Shelley), and Teresa Pemberton (Dave); great grandchildren, Mika Myers, Aleshia Napier, Jillian Moore, Justin Collins, Christopher Collins, Garrett Carrico, and Reid Carrico; and five great great grandchildren.  Also surviving is a loving friend and companion, Shirley Dalton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Joe, Lawrence, Bill, and Ralph; and sisters, Dorothy Brammer, Geraldine Brammer, and Edna Bell.  
She was a member of the first graduating class of Ironton High School.  A devoted Christian and member of Getaway United Methodist Church for 70 years, she is now part of a glorious reunion with family and friends that have departed over these many years.  
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with The Rev. Harold Hamlin officiating.  Burial will follow in Getaway United Methodist Church Cemetery, Getaway.  Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
