SOUTH POINT — Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an incident Monday morning in which a South Point woman awoke to find someone in her residence.

The woman told deputies the burglar was wearing a hooded sweatshirt but could not give a detailed description of the intruder.

The incident happened at 3:34 a.m. in the area of Delta Lane. Sheriff Jeff Lawless said nothing appears to have been taken in the incident and no one was hurt.
