The cookbooks translate each of the ingredients and utensils into the country’s primary language and are each uniquely packaged with a child-friendly cooking accessory. The Handstand Kids Cookbooks make it fun for families to explore other cultures, cuisines and a healthy lifestyle.

“Each of the cookbooks promote health and nutrition by incorporating healthy ingredients into their recipes and showing kids how to take control of what they eat,” said Yvette Garfield, author and founder of the Handstand Kids Cookbook Company. “The five-week camp at Huntington’s Kitchen will use recipes from the Handstand Kids Cookbook series, blending Jamie Oliver’s focus of bringing healthier food into homes with Handstand Kids goal of teaching children to give to others in need.”

The five-week course will begin June 16 on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Kid-chefs will learn recipes from Italy, Mexico, and China and prepare them on a Handstand Kids All-Purpose Mat, the light-weight, dishwasher-safe cutting board, placemat and workstation.
