On behalf of the Ironton Eagles I would like to say thanks to all those who supported the Poker Run held May 22 at the Eagles.

We had 71 entries on a day that called for a 70 percent chance of rain. We have given close to $7,500 to Friends of Ironton for their “sprayground” project. This would not have been possible without the support of the following people and businesses:

Fields Excavating, House of Kustom, Jim Howard Body Shop, Phillips Funeral Home, Frogtown, Charlie’s Harley Davidson, Tackett’s Body Shop, Bob Clyse Chevy/Buick/GMC, Jim and T.J. Weber, The DAWG and The Planet radio stations, The Tribune, Ohio River Bank, Printing Express, Drs. Rudolph and Portia Canos, Attys. Anderson & Anderson, Charlie’s Tires, Bartram’s, Save-A-Lot, Albert Insurance, Best Title Agency, Joe Hurley Insurance, Liberty Federal, Servepro, Rich Mountain Insurance, Arrick’s Propane, Spriggs District, Commercial Doors & More, LLC, Ed and Miriam Whitworth, Gary Leach Insurance, Atty.
