Debra Russell, 49, of Ironton passed away on Friday, June 18, 2010, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital, Russell, Ky. She was born Sept. 18, 1960, the daughter of the late Glenn and Zona McCormick Cade. She was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and a member of the Raceland Church of God in Raceland, Ky. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Freda Matthews.
Debra is survived by her husband of 17 years Bob Russell; three daughters, Kayla Russell (Gayla Roach), Whitney Russell, and Hannah Russell, all of Ironton; one grandson, Jamere Bacon of Ironton; five brothers, Bud (Kay) Cade of Ironton,Bill (Shelby) Cade of Columbus, Ron Cade of Sugar Creek, George (Brenda) Cade of Pedro, and Dawayne (Theresa) Cade of Ironton; five sisters: Kathleen (Ernie) Wilson of Columbus, Maxine (John) Haskins of Pedro, Betty (Trubby) May of Ironton, Kathy (Keith) Bevins of Ironton and Deloris (David) Hackworth of Ironton; and a special friend, Lori Delong of Ironton.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday at the Tracy Brammer Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jim Cremeans officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Ironton. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
