Summer is here and thanks to the Ironton in Bloom committee our town has been made beautiful with flowers displayed.

We had an interesting board meeting this week. We received several donations in honor of those who have passed who were connected with the historical society.

Thank you for remembering these members that we will always remember.

There are some interesting things going on at the museum. You will soon be informed about and asked to come by and see these new things.

The Ironton Garden Club has kept the lawn very beautiful, especially the butterfly bushes that bring precious memories of my grandmother raising them in her yard.

Our next program appearing at the museum will be July 24, which will feature the “Country Knight” performing at the ice cream social.

It will be at 6 p.m. The refreshments will be good and so will the music.
