SEARCY, Ark. — Senior broadcast major Taelor Aebi of Ironton is among four Harding University students who were selected to be Fox News interns this summer, marking a new record for the number of network-level internships held by Harding students at one time.

Aebi works as a reporter intern at Fox News, learning from the reporters in production meetings and in the field.

She recently shadowed a reporter covering the vote on the Iran Sanctions Resolution at the United Nations Headquarters in Washington D.C. and became an official UN media member.

“I’ve already learned so much in the short time that I’ve been here,” Aebi said. “I can honestly say that I have one of the most exciting internships in the country.”

Aebi will return to school in the fall with experience acquired from working under reporters she considers some of the best in the nation.

All Harding mass media students are required to complete a 240-hour internship with a media outlet of their choosing to graduate.

Harding had a record enrollment this year of more than 6,600 students from all 50 states and 49 foreign countries. It is the largest private university in Arkansas and attracts more National Merit Scholars than any other private university in the state.

Harding also maintains campuses in Australia, Chilé, England, France, Greece, Italy and Zambia.
