ROME TOWNSHIP — Sen. John Carey will hold an Open Door at the Lawrence County Fair in Proctorville on Monday, July 12 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Carey is a candidate for State Representative in the 87th House District.

“I would like to invite anyone who has any questions regarding state government or who just like s to talk, to stop by and visit with me at the fair,” Carey said.

Carey has been a longtime supporter of the fair. “I understand that agriculture is Ohio’s number one industry. I have worked with my constituents to support policies that will help strengthen agriculture and agribusiness. I believe that agriculture will be one of the things that will help Ohio’s economy recover,” Carey said. Carey has been named a “Friend of Agriculture” previously by the Ohio Farm Bureau.
