Free safety eyewear available to those eligible

I am the assistant director at the Ohio Ophthalmological Society and we have a program that gives Prescription Eye Goggle Safety Eyewear to children under 18 in the state of Ohio.

Eligibility requires household income to be at or under the 300 percent poverty level. For a family of 4 that is $66,000.

The Web site to apply is www.playhardgear.com. I also can mail brochures with the application to you or someone you think could circulate these out to the community.

Goggles are free. We are grant-sponsored by Save Our Sight and are trying to reach all corners of the state. I can be reached at the info above if you have any questions.
