Mrs. Bonnie Scott, 57, of Ironton, Ohio died Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Kentucky. She was born November 25, 1953 in Ironton, Ohio the daughter of the late David and Wanda Reed Morris. She was a 1970 graduate of Ironton High School and a lifelong member of the Campbell Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, where she loved to sing in the choir. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Massie.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Scott; two sons: J.D. and Cindy Scott of Ironton, Ohio and Josh and Jessica Scott of Getaway, Ohio; one very special grand-daughter Katie Scott of Ironton; two brothers, David and Brenda Morris of Kitts Hill, Ohio and Jim and Tammy Morris of Kitts Hill, Ohio; one very special aunt Louella Turvey of Coal Grove, and her mother-in-law Marie Scott of Ironton.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the Tracy Brammer Funeral Home, Ironton, Ohio with the Rev, Bob Bradley and Rev. Bryon Carman officiating. Pallbearers will be: Donna Fulks, Trish Boggs, Kati Bevins, Amy McCarty, Jody Hunt, Tammy Justice, Jennifer Daniels and Kim Hackworth. Interment will follow in Ice Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
