Raymond L Jones, 65, of Ironton, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. The Lawrence County native was born July 4,1945, the son of the late James Harlan Jones and Mildred Russell Jones Sierer.
Mr. Jones was a self-employed contractor in Farmville, Va. He graduated from South Point High School in 1963 and was of the Mormon faith.
He is survived by a daughter, Amanda Blackburn of Farmville; two sons, Daniel and Jonathan both of Richmond, Va.; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Belinda and Willard (Red) Rowe, Sharon and John Stephens, and Betty Riggle all of Ironton.
