Senior Expo welcomes all to fun-filled event

Attention all seniors. Are you looking for a fun day where you can you meet new people, learn about services and programs that can benefit you, enjoy good food, fellowship, entertainment and much more?

Then look no further – the Senior Expo is quickly approaching and you are invited.

The Area Agency on Aging District 7 (AAA7) extends an invitation to all seniors and interested community members to the 2010 Senior Expo that will be held on Friday, Sept. 10 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Scioto County Fairgrounds in Lucasville, Ohio. This one-day, fun-filled event is a favorite among seniors throughout the district and AAA7 staff is looking forward to hosting seniors for another exciting year. Better yet – attendance is free and open to everyone.

Features at the Expo include exhibit booths, free health screenings, Bingo, door prizes, live entertainment, a cake auction, food, games and much more.

This year’s theme, “Wild-Wild-West”, will be evident in costumes and booth decorations and attendees are encouraged to have fun with the theme by dressing in western or similar themed attire if they choose.

The Area Agency on Aging District 7, which covers ten counties in Ohio including Adams, Brown, Gallia, Highland, Jackson, Lawrence, Pike, Ross, Scioto and Vinton, hopes to greet many attendees at this year’s Senior Expo.

Not only does the event bring many together for a fun day, but it also serves as a venue to celebrate the many wonderful and meaningful contributions senior citizens make to our communities.
