Hospital officials presented Holzer with a commemorative 100th anniversary logo shirt for this weekend’s event, which is open to the public.

Events slated for the day include the Charles E. Holzer Jr., MD, Commemorative Run, a 5K run and a 1 mile run/walk to begin at Holzer Clinic Sycamore Branch at 8 a.m., a memorial tribute to 9/11 at 8:30 a.m. in the Gallipolis City Park, free health screenings and information from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the HMC Wellness Wagon, which will be located in the park, a corn hole tournament to begin at 10am, karaoke contest set to begin at noon, with a cookout available free to the community from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

In addition, children activities will include inflatables, face painting and balloon animals. Everyone is invited to come out to the Gallipolis City Park to celebrate our 100th anniversary.
