PEDRO — If there was a special deal on turnovers Friday night, the Rock Hill Redmen must have bought the entire inventory.

Rock Hill lost two fumbles, suffered an interception, and had two punts blocked that helped the unbeaten Oak Hill Oaks pick up a 37-0 win.

The miscues began on the opening kickoff as Rock Hill saw a nice return near midfield result in fumble and the Oaks recovered at the 36.

Rock Hill held and after an exchange of punts, Oak Hill got the ball back at the Redmen 37 and four plays later Jesse Slone hit Joey Maynard with a 22-yard scoring pass. Dylan Lewis kicked the first of five extra points.

Rock Hill (0-3) fumbled the ensuing kickoff and the Oaks struck three plays later on a 33-yard pass from Slone to Jesse Parker who made a leaping catch in the back corner of the end zone.

The Oaks went 70 yards in 13 plays to take a 21-0 lead in the second quarter as Westen Hale capped the drive with a 2-yard run.

The Redmen drove into Oak Hill territory, but an interception by Cory Kuhn ended the drive.

After an exchange of punts, Slone and Maynard hooked up on a 12-yard scoring pass to culminate a 40-yard drive and it was 28-0 with 13 seconds left in the half.

Parker blocked a punt out of the end zone for a safety early in the third quarter and it was 30-0.

Another blocked punt gave the Oaks the ball at the Rock Hill 3-yard line and Hale scored on the next play to complete the scoring.

Sone was 14-of-24 for 153 yards and three touchdowns. Hale ran 16 times for 96 yards and two scores as the Oaks rolled up 368 total yards.

Rock Hill was limited to 95 total yards.

The victory was the 17th straight regular season win for the Oaks.
