United States won’t be ready for World War III

This letter is in response to the person who thinks all of Jim Crawford’s columns are in the best interest of the public and, according to her, does research on facts.
Well, I hate to inform Mr. Crawford but his statement that the United States is the wealthiest country in the world is so far off base he must have not have done any research at all.
We are so far into debt to China that if they called for us to pay up we could not do so.
China and Russia are now partners in the global world and now China has missiles that can easily take out our most advanced carriers.
Look this up on military channel.com if you don’t think it is true. Yes, they were developed for one nation and that is ours. Russia and China both have upped their military to the point it could easily destroy most of ours in a matter of days.
We seem to still believe that we are so much more advanced and I have heard individuals here say that the communist are under equipped.
Well, tell that to the folks who fought the communists in Korea and Vietnam. They are not only well equipped but ready to die for their cause.
I hope the United States military, that continues to think they are the elite, start preparing for World War III with the idea we need to expand our resources to take the hits we will from Russia and China.
