IRONTON – Robert Lee Hurst, 47 of Ironton, Ohio, passed away Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, from injuries sustained in an auto accident on Ohio Furnace Road.

He was born June 23, 1963, a son of Lennie Evelyn Roach Hurst of Ironton, Ohio and the late James Ray Hurst Sr.

In addition to his mother he is survived by two daughters, Angel Nicole Bayes of Franklin Furnace, Ohio, Robin Lee Hurst of Portsmouth; five brothers: James Ray Hurst Jr. and his wife Jerri of Franklin Furnace, Jeffrey Allen Hurst and his wife Jill of Ironton, Marshall Hurst and his wife Sherry of Franklin Furnace, Michael Hurst and his wife Tammy of Ironton, Rocky Hurst and his wife Becky of Ironton: a sister, Melody Mulkey and her husband David of Ironton. Robert also leaves to mourn his passing three grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010, at Brown Funeral Chapel and the Ironton Christian Church located at 2427 S. 11th St., Ironton, Ohio, with Pastors Tony Mullett and Billy Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Haverhill Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 until 10 p.m. on Wednesday and one hour prior to services at the funeral chapel. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
