Emogene Faye Miller

WATERLOO — Emogene Fae Miller, 88, of Waterloo went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 30, 2010. She was the widow of Foster Miller who died in 1966. Mrs. Miller attended Waterloo schools, was a homemaker and a member of Slabfork Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Catherine Malone; a daughter Ruth Banks; four brothers, Orville, Cecil, Orlyn and Floyd E. Malone; three sisters, Stella Massie, Kathleen Lindsey and an infant sister.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Agnes and Larry Knipp of Waterloo; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Shirley Miller of Grayson, Ky. and Jeff and Karen Miller of Waterloo; and a son-in-law, Don Banks of Ironton. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Kenny and Stacy Knipp, Kimberly and Clay Settle, Tim and Mindy Knipp, Amanda and Matt Capper, Christie and Matt Ruthers, Stacey and Brandon Tussey, John Jr. and Mary Jo Miller, Sarah Lindon, Jeffery and Julie Miller and Charles and Kim Perkins. She is survived by 21 great grandchildren, Elena and Emma Knipp, Hannah, Caleb, Samuel and Lydia Knipp, Aaron Capper, Madilyn and Luke Ruthers, Halle Scott, Gracie Terry, and Emily Tussey, Isabella and John Foster Miller, Isaac Madden and Ethan Lindon, Chase and Athena Miller, Kari and C.J. White and Olivia Perkins. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Audrey Malone of Pedro; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Miller.
