Two Lawrence County residents are being held in prison on kidnapping charges.

Britnie Dawn McCollum, 30, of South Point, and Joseph Whitmore, 30, of Proctorville, were arrested last week by the Cabell County Sheriff’s Department, according to information provided by the Western Regional Jail, where they area being held.

McCollum was arrested Thursday and Whitmore was arrested Friday.

Bail was denied in both McCollum and Whitmore’s case.
