PEDRO — On Monday the Ironton Ranger District of the Wayne National Forest in southeastern Ohio will begin a road reconstruction project on Hanging Rock Road, Forest Service Road 105 in order to improve the roadway’s drainage system and driving surface.

The project will begin at the Hanging Rock Trailhead and continue to the end of the gravel roadway. Due to concerns for public safety while heavy equipment is on the road, the road will be closed from Monday through Friday until the project is complete. If weather and construction activities permit, the road will be opened for weekend use.

The project should last approximately two weeks.
